Junk Removal in Conyers

We haul away the furniture, boxes, old appliances and yard clutter your home has outgrown, and we carry it all out from attics, basements and back rooms ourselves. You get a clear price before we lift anything, then a swept, empty space when the truck pulls away.

What Our Junk Removal Covers

Junk removal is the right call when the pile is too big, too heavy or too mixed for a few trips to the transfer station. We take nearly anything a household collects: sofas and mattresses, broken exercise equipment, old electronics, carpet rolls, scrap lumber, boxes left by a previous owner. You point, we lift, load and haul.

Older houses add their own wrinkles. Stairways built decades ago are often narrow with tight landings, attic access may be a pull-down hatch, and basements tend to hold things nobody has touched since the last renovation. We plan the carry route before we start, pad door frames and newel posts, and take apart pieces that will not turn a corner instead of forcing them past old plaster.

We work throughout Conyers and nearby towns like Covington and Lithonia. If your job is mostly one category, our furniture removal, appliance removal or garage cleanouts pages go deeper on those.

What Every Visit Includes

  1. 01

    We do the heavy lifting

The crew carries everything from where it sits now, be it an upstairs bedroom, a crawlspace opening or the far end of the yard. Nothing has to be hauled to the curb ahead of time.

  2. 02

    Taking pieces apart

We break down bed frames, sectionals, built-in shelving and swing sets with hand tools so they pass through doorways without scraping the trim. If you mean to give a piece away yourself, we bag the hardware with it.

  3. 03

    Donation and recycling first

Furniture and household goods that still work get pulled aside for donation, and metal, cardboard and electronics are recycled when possible. The landfill only gets what nobody can use again.

  4. 04

    Floor protection and sweep-up

Runners go over finished floors, and banisters get wrapped where the carry is tight. Once the final load leaves, we sweep the area so you're looking at clean floor.

  5. 05

    A checked crew

Our company is enrolled in E-Verify, which confirms that everyone working in your home is eligible to work in the United States.

Signs It Is Time to Call for Junk Removal

  • Rooms you cannot use

A spare bedroom or den that has become storage is square footage you are paying for and not living in. Clearing it is usually a single visit.

  • Leftovers from a previous owner

Many older houses come with paint-stiffened drop cloths, old window units or broken furniture in the attic or shed. If it was there when you moved in, it is probably time it left.

  • Moisture around stored items

Cardboard boxes stacked against a basement wall wick moisture and hold it, which feeds mildew and draws pests. Getting them out lets the space dry and lets you see the wall itself.

  • Items too heavy to move safely

Solid wood dressers, sleeper sofas and treadmills can weigh more than two people should carry down old, narrow stairs without straps and a plan. That is exactly the work we do every day.

  • A move, sale or renovation is coming

Contractors, movers and buyers all need clear rooms. Hauling first keeps those schedules on track.

How a Junk Removal Visit Runs

  1. 1

    Phone call and scheduling

Tell us what you have and where it sits in the house. We offer same-day and next-day service when the schedule has room.

  2. 2

    On-site walkthrough and price

We look at the items and the carry path, then give you an upfront price before any work starts. If you decide not to go ahead, there is no charge for the estimate.

  3. 3

    Load-out

We protect floors and tight corners, take apart what will not fit, and load the truck in an order that uses the space well. You can stay nearby to flag anything that should stay.

  4. 4

    Sweep and haul-off

We sweep the cleared area, do a final walk with you, and drive the load to donation, recycling and disposal sites.

How a Junk Removal Price Comes Together

Truck space and the labor of getting your items onto it set most of the price. We quote once we've seen the job, upfront and with no hidden fees. These are the things we check on the walkthrough.

Volume
How much of the truck you fill matters most. A handful of big pieces and a room packed with boxes can price very differently.
Weight and material
Heavy loads such as broken plaster, tile or old cast iron hit the truck's weight limit before its space limit, and some disposal sites bill by the ton.
Access and carry distance
Rooms on a third floor, pull-down attic hatches, steep basement stairs and long carries from the back of the lot all take more crew time.
Items with special handling
Fridges and freezers hold refrigerant, and mattresses, tires and electronics often have disposal fees of their own. We name these at the estimate so no surprise shows up later.

Common Junk Removal Questions

Should I bring everything outside before you come?

No need. We take items from wherever they sit, attics, basements and upstairs bedrooms included. Just keep the rooms open to us and your pets put away.

Is there anything you won't haul?

Hazardous materials like liquid paint, solvents, pesticides, fuel and propane tanks stay off our truck, since disposal sites turn them away in a mixed load. If you come across any while clearing out, put them to one side and we'll explain how the county drop-off programs handle them.

Will you be careful with old floors and plaster walls?

We will. Runners go over hardwood, door jambs and banisters get padded, and furniture comes apart instead of being twisted through tight openings. Mapping the route first is what keeps old trim and plaster from getting dinged.

Does the estimate really cost nothing?

It does. On-site estimates are free with no obligation, and you pay only if you hire us for the job.

Will my things be donated, or just thrown out?

Usable items are donated, and metal, cardboard and electronics are recycled when local facilities take them. Anything left goes to a transfer station or landfill licensed for that material, so none of it gets dumped by the road.
